Specific demands require specific solutions. Its modern architecture makes the BL Banking Server profoundly flexible and ensures a very high performance. The processing component allows for scheduled and event-driven execution of nearly any activity.
Besides the communication via EBICS (Electronic Banking Internet Communication Standard) in version 2.5 the Banking Server supports FTAM and BCS-FTP. Additional communication protocols can easily be integrated into the open platform.
Through the consistent realisation of the modular design principle and by using standardised components, the system's architecture is highly modular. Examples of the modularity are the implementation of the ZKA Security, the extremely fast BL Formatparser, the modules for authorisation, administration, and the key management modules.
Additional features are the ability to customise for several clients, the distinguished scalability as well as the convenient and secure configuration of the system. Other modules, for example for extensive statistical functions, are provided as optional features.
EBICS also advanced to the new e-banking communication standard in France. The migration from the previously used ETEBAC to EBICS is currently in progress and about to be finished for most banks.
The EBICS specification released by the CFONB differs in some fundamental parts from the German version, i.e. order types, the distributed signature, or the need for certificates to be used during initialization.
